02/02/2010 - Interview with Ferran Bolós, Christmas card contest winner of the "Iwith.org 2009 Postcard"
 Ferran Bolós, is our winner of the "Iwith.org 2009 Postcard" award. He is very familiar with Iwith.org and our initiatives from working with the NGO Vols, a beneficiary of ours, as their communications engineer. He is currently on leave of absence until August when he returns from living in Tanger (Morroco) for eight months. 



18/01/2010 - Interview with Chiara Giacomini, "most sent postcard" award winner
Chiara Giacomini, a 34-year-old-italian graphic designer that has been living in Barcelona for the last 10 years, won our postcard contest that ran last December, and was awarded  the "most sent postcard" prize.
We met her in order to get to know a little bit more about this graphic designer, who created her own agency, a year ago: Chiara Giacomini | brand design.

Due to the World Book Day celebration on April 23rd, Iwith.org announced the Iwith.org 2009 Literary Contest. That is why today, as part of the celebration we are releasing the collection of short stories on Bubok.

The authors are friends and stakeholders of Iwith.org that wants to share this book with all of you.

22/09/2009 - Now you can see the photographs from iwith.org's summer photo contest 2009
Right on schedule, on the 20th of September, the time was up to submit photos to iwith.org's 2009 contest. From different parts of the world and with very different viewpoints, dozens of people sent us their own personal portraits of the digital divide, and these are the pictures selected by the jury. Our thanks go to all who supported the initiative in this way.

The call, made by  Fundación CTIC through the www.1arroba1euro.org initiative, takes the shape of a “Contest of Innovative Ideas for Human Development through Information Technologies and Comunication”. The projects selected will be carried out with the assistance of this Foundation.

Lebiscuno, the book of Colombian Katheryn Garcia Johana Pacheco from Bolivar in Cartagena, was the most downloaded in this edition of Iwith.org Contest. Jury also awarded an honorable mention to Yuna by Inma Llavería. We thank the participants and congratulate readers who believed in the importance of our initiative that the internet is also a vehicle of culture.

That’s the conclusión we have drawn from our 2009 Literary Contest. Among the authors, there is a girl from Tarragona, Spain, who suffers from muscular dystrophy and who has worked hard to present her story, entirely written through  Xarxa Òmnia.

22/04/2008 - "El Príncipe Esquivo" winner of the Iwith.org International Book Day contest 2008
The collection of poems by Ronald Franklin Castillo Florian, from Peru, has been the most downloaded book in the 2008 contest. As of 12 o'clock on 22 April there were more than two thousand clicks to download one of the 23 works posted on our web site. Once again, we would like to thank the authors for their generosity and trust and the readers for their faith in the project.

Whichever book receives most downloads between now and the 22nd of April will be accredited with Iwith.org's international book-day prize. The objective of which is to contribute to a useful online culture.

Not long ago we informed you of the winner of our Postcards Contest 2007 but we still had to show you, as it was one of the contest’s guidelines, the most popular postcard. It was, ‘Colorful tents’ , by Luis Buruel, from Germany, who by the postcard wrote: ‘send some colour and happiness to your friends with this postcard’.
